Gérard Bertrand Wines - Château l'Hospitalet

Occitanie, France On the map

DESCRIPTION

Gérard Bertrand Wines is above all a family story. The story began in 1975 when, after two generations of winegrowers who had contributed to the creation of the company, Gérard Bertrand decided to interrupt his career as an international rugby player to devote himself fully to the family wine estate, which he had been running since he was 22.

Today, Gérard Bertrand wines are based on four values: excellence, innovation, naturalness and conviviality. This is why the house has become so renowned over the years and is considered the ambassador of the great wines of Occitania throughout the world. From the proximity of the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean coastal vineyards, Gérard Bertrand owns 16 Châteaux and Domaines. Convinced that viticulture in harmony with nature is the best way to produce great wines that reflect all the nuances of their terroir, Gérard Bertrand chose biodynamic viticulture very early on, which gives him a modern and visionary outlook on the world of wine. Preservation of old vines, soil cultivation, manual harvesting, all the tools are present so that the house can create authentic and unique wines. Red, White, Rosé... and even Orange, discover premium wines from the South of France!
