5th May 2025 10658

Emilia Romagna: you golfers are the best talkers!

In love with short stays and always on the lookout for new discoveries, Patrice S, Golfystador 1 star with 39 courses Golfy played and his wife, Françoise have recently chosen Italy as a destination for a golfic parenthesis. They were able to enjoy the golfs Golfy of Salsomaggiore, Del Ducato and Terre di Canossa. Between spontaneity, favourites and advice, they share their experience, which makes you want to prepare your clubs to discover the Emilia Romagna.

  • How did you discover the Golf of Salsomaggiore, Del Ducato and Terre di Canossa?
I discovered them in the offers we receive, the Newsletter Italy. We regularly look at the offers we receive from Golfy because we like to make short stays to escape.

  • What attracted you to this stay offer?
Italy... We live in Annecy so quite close. For 4 days it is really perfect because we do not want to go too far. We plan a little at the last moment our stays which allows us to see the weather before scheduling our departure.
We saw that there are many new Golfy golf courses in Italy. It’s great!
  • How would you describe the environment and landscape/setting of these golf courses?
They are very technical but sublime. We preferred the golf Salsomaggiore, and Terre di Canossa which are beautiful! Ducato La Roca is a little flatter but fabulous anyway.
  • Are you planning to come back for a new stay? Yes, of course!

  • Would you recommend these golf courses to your friends? Why?
We recommend it to many people! For the quality of the courses and for the Italian welcome that is absolutely perfect: very professional, and extremely kind. Plus: they speak French and it’s very nice. Everything was absolutely fabulous!
  • Do you have any tips, good plans for a golf getaway in Italy?
Look at the offers Golfy! This offer was advantageous and very affordable for the services and quality of stay. We were there in early April: it’s ideal because there was not too many people at this time and it was a great weather. The hotel and room on site were nickel.
    No complaints, everything was perfect!

  • What tourist activities, things to see or do in this region would you recommend?
We did 3 days of golf and a day tour of Parma: a city to see. The area is beautiful and delicious food.

  • Would you like to add something?
Keep up the Golfy offers, it’s really great!

A golfing getaway in Emilia-Romagna, it is the promise of a stay combining beauty courses, Italian hospitality and tasty cultural discoveries. A big thank you to Patrice and Françoise S. for this inspiring sharing that will surely make many other Golfystadors want to experience this great adventure.
