Golfy Convention 2025

14th December 2025 307

Two days of work and exchanges, all in a festive and friendly atmosphere, dear to the DNA of Golfy, at the Horizon Resort Massane.

For its 33rd edition, the Golfy Convention has once again brought together golf representatives, partners and players of the Golfy Network, around two days rich in meetings, innovations and conviviality, at the Horizon Resort Massane.

An annual meeting that, more than ever, has played its role: strengthen the sense of belonging, share future directions, promote exchanges between professionals and partners, while valuing members committed to the development of the Network.

A dense program, inspiring... and resolutely turned towards the future.

Tuesday 9 December – Official launch and first highlight

The entire Golfy team stood ready to welcome all the participants with real pleasure this Tuesday, December 9th, in the magnificent hall of the Horizon Resort. Welcome gifts in hand, everyone was able to start the day in an atmosphere that was already intended to be friendly.

The Convention opened with the highly anticipated intervention of Patrice Canayer, emblematic figure of French handball. With his impressive track record (two Champions Leagues, fourteen French champion titles...), he shared his vision of management, the link between individual and collective, and sustainable performance. An inspiring conference for golf directors, who, like a sports coach, must unite their teams to achieve common objectives on a daily basis.

The lunch cocktail, skillfully prepared by the Toques Blanches Internationales, launched the first discussions. Pan-fried foie gras, scallops, and sweet treats, accompanied by the Gérard Bertrand Wines, delighted the participants before the start of the competition. On 9 holes in a scramble for two, the players were able to challenge themselves in all conviviality on the Golf de Massane course, punctuated by tasty snacks.

The day continued with the Central Suppliers' Plenary, a moment dedicated to the different exclusive partners who were able to present their flagship products, their novelties and their news.

Another symbolic and much appreciated moment animated the evening: the delivery of jackets "20 years old".
Jérôme de Grivel from the Domaine du Val de Sorne and Philippe Rassat from the Golf du Sauternais were awarded the famous jacket of 20 years, embroidered with the Golfy crest marking their loyalty in the Network for 2 decades.

Wednesday, December 10 – Day of exchanges and innovation

From 8:30 the next morning, the Golfy plenary opened this second day of Convention. Stéphane LOGOTHETIS, General Manager of Golfy, gave an update on the highlights of the year 2025 and detailed the main axes of development of the Network. The strategic review was also addressed, with the intervention of Clément Berardi, Associate Director of Kea.
Finally, Rik Ruts, Managing Director of Leading Courses, a community platform and now a strategic partner of the Network, presented its development axes to strengthen the international visibility of the Golfy Network.

The rest of the day was dedicated to the showroom of the Centrale, bringing together about forty suppliers. A particularly appreciated space, allowing B2B meetings directly useful for the daily life of the clubs. Between demonstrations, tastings and thematic exchanges, the atmosphere was dynamic and warm.
Two workshops "golfs", allowed to highlight two inspiring initiatives: Denis Millerand and Geoffrey Gabiller from the Golf de Baugé, shared their feedback on the design and implementation of a photovoltaic field. Chloé and Jérôme de Grivel from the Domaine du Val de Sorne; presented their project for installing mowing robots, an innovative approach focused on efficiency and sustainability.
A workshop "greenkeeping": Valentine Godin, MECAGREEN supplier, presented the monitoring course, a tool that allows real-time monitoring of the agronomic condition of the course (soil, water, grass) in order to optimize watering, maintenance and game quality while controlling costs and resources.

Another highlight of the day was the intervention of Pascal Grizot, president of the French Golf Federation, accompanied by Gilles Paris, vice-president in charge of development. They presented the missions of the FFG: promote the emergence of high-level French golfers on the international scene, defend the golf sector with state authorities, support practice and ecological transition, and discussed ongoing work at the Golf National, which should be completed by the end of 2026.

Throughout the day, several golf directors played the game of 'Happy New Year' facing the camera (video to come on social networks!)

The Gala dinner closed this beautiful Convention. The loyal partners for many years have been greeted: the Toques Blanches Internationales represented by Eric Sanchez, as well as Les vins Gerard Bertrand represented by Mathieu Tovena, without whom the event would not have the same flavor.

Christophe Sadoine, new CEO of Golfy for two years, received from the hands of the founder Alain Jeanjean the jacket of 20 years—his — a strong and symbolic gesture that marks a successful transmission and serene continuity between the two leaders.

A particular moment marked this edition of the Golfy Convention: the retirement of Nathalie Lyonnet, an essential figure of Golfy, who was present from the first steps of the Network alongside Alain Jeanjean. A page turns, and it is with great gratitude and emotion that the entire team has praised his journey and commitment since the beginning of the Golfy adventure.

The musicians Grégory LAFFARGUE, Jean-Luc PEUMERY, Stéphane PUECH and Michel NATHAN followed by DJ Yohan PERALTA then set the dancefloor on fire until late at night!

A 2025 edition focused on people, innovation and the future of the network

This 33rd Golfy Convention confirms what makes the strength of the Network: authentic encounters, a common desire to move forward, and a collective dynamic that continues to grow.

Throughout the event, Christophe Sadoine, the CEO of Golfy, was at the side of the participants, providing his support and vision for the future of the Network. His presence strengthened everyone’s commitment and highlighted the importance of this annual meeting.

A big thank you to all the participants, speakers, and partners present with a special mention to the teams of the Horizon Resort for their hospitality and professionalism.

See you next year for a new edition full of energy!
