After a round of golf overlooking the ocean, what could be better than extending the experience in a hotel where everything invites you to travel? Just minutes from Golf de Bourgenay, Hôtel Côte Ouest unveils its ambitious expansion project, offering a new way to experience a stay on the Vendée coast, combining high-end comfort, wellness and breathtaking views over the Atlantic.
After 18 months of work and two years of planning alongside its architect, Hôtel Côte Ouest in Les Sables-d’Olonne unveils an ambitious extension project called Le Pont Supérieur. Designed to offer an even more immersive experience while remaining true to the distinctive character that makes this iconic hotel so special.
For many years, Côte Ouest has cultivated a unique identity inspired by the great transatlantic liners of the 1930s. Under the guidance of its owner, Sylvie Dubreuil, every space has been designed as a port of call where elegance, comfort and escape come together.
The challenge was significant: adding a new floor without altering the existing architecture or the natural surroundings of the Vendée coastline. An architectural feat that now allows the hotel to take another step forward in its move towards a more upscale experience.

This extension features 11 new Suites overlooking the Atlantic, each with a private terrace and high-end amenities. Designed as true luxury cabins, they extend the spirit of travel that defines the hotel’s identity.
The SUN DECK completes the offering with a rooftop restaurant and bar boasting panoramic views of the ocean. In a convivial atmosphere, guests can enjoy generous cuisine centred around charcoal grilling, flavours inspired by all four corners of the world, sharing plates and signature cocktails, all overlooking the Atlantic.
Among the highlights, L’Observatoire stands out as a new exceptional space. This light-filled private lounge is ideal for meetings, executive committees, private events or product launches, offering an intimate yet spectacular setting with breathtaking ocean views.
On the wellness side, six new treatment rooms have been added to the spa, including the spectacular Spa Horizon. Located in the Vigie, this duo treatment room offers a unique moment of relaxation with exceptional views over the sea.

Just 8 kilometres from the hotel, Golf de Bourgenay is the perfect complement to this experience. Its 18-hole course, set among pine forests, water features and cliffs overlooking the ocean, offers an exceptional golfing setting on the Vendée coast. After a day on the fairways, returning to Côte Ouest naturally extends the escape, with relaxation, gastronomy and breathtaking views of the sea.
