Golf della Montecchia

Built in what were once the property of the Counts Emo Capodilista, The Montecchia Golf Club is adjacent to an ancient medieval castle and a splendid Renaissance villa, still owned by the noble family. The club house is housed in an old, expertly renovated tobacco dryer, which houses two restaurants, a snack bar, meeting rooms as well as a reception and services. The Challenge Tour took place on the course in 2001 and in 2002, and the Alps Tour in 2010 and 2012. The course is spread over 27 holes, designed by the English architect Tom Macauley in full respect of the Anglo-Saxon school. So high technical content without losing sight of the environment and the surrounding landscape. The movement is very limited, with undulations that recall the bordering Euganean Hills Park. The presence of water mirrors and uncultivated spots, combined with eco-friendly maintenance, favor the presence of a rich fauna.
