Golf de Pals - Golf Serres de Pals
DESCRIPTION
The Pals golf course, designed by the British architect F.W Hawtree, is adapted to the dunes and pine trees that are the main features of the course. It is built in the middle of an immense pine forest facing the sea. Over its 50-year history, Pals Golf Club has welcomed amateur and professional players from all over the world, who are delighted to be able to play on the course that hosted the XLVI Spanish Open, the prestigious professional tournament that led to the creation of the European Professional Circuit at Pals in 1972.
Golf Serres de Pals opened its doors in June 2023 with a 9-hole par 36 course, faithful to the original design. Thanks to its different itineraries, it is ideal for players of all levels: itinerary from 3198 metres (31 - white) to 1891 metres (18 - orange) - Executive Course.
The holes, surrounded by rice paddies and vineyards, pass through ancient fruit and cereal fields and offer the player an unusual tranquillity as they are completely separated from urban areas and other buildings.
The views from the course are spectacular, including the castle of Torroella de Montgrí, the medieval village of Pals and the typical landscapes of Empordanet.
