Golf de Mont de Marsan
DESCRIPTION
In the calm of the Landes forest at the gates of Mont de Marsan, in the charming commune of Saint Avit, you will spend a marvellous moment in a place full of history. You will follow in the footsteps of the soldiers who, as early as the 19th century, manoeuvred on the site and gave it the name "Pessourdat", a Gascon word meaning "soldiers' feet". You will take the path of the airial and the very old farmhouse typical of the Landes, converted into a Club-House; there, you will plunge into the local heritage through its gastronomy. You will then have to deal with the technical and varied course designed with happiness by our great French golfer Jean Garaïalde. You will play in a magnificent forest where maritime pines, oaks, chestnut trees, birch trees and fruit trees stand side by side.
