Champagne Jean Hû

Grand Est, France On the map

DESCRIPTION

A family business, Jean Hû has been producing its own Champagnes for three generations now.

"Our vintages reflect our terroir and our know-how, which has been recognised for many years by our loyal customers," explains Louis Mouton, winemaker.

When you come, you can take advantage of a free visit of the vintages and discover their passion for Champagne as well as the specificities of the winegrower's job.

The Champagne estate is located 20 km from Château-Thierry and Epernay, in the heart of the Marne valley in the village of Vincelles, opposite Dormans. The vines are all close to the estate and face due south, which means that the quality of the grapes and therefore the Champagnes is impeccable.

Since 2020, the winery has been certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Viticulture Durable Champagne), two certifications that reflect the desire to limit the ecological footprint as much as possible.

With the primary ambition of not leaving their children and future generations a damaged terroir, Champagne Jean Hû has chosen to produce their own champagnes in order to maintain total control over the quality of the vintages. This choice allows them to produce original and unique creations from the quality of the harvested grapes.

Don't hesitate to come and discover the estate and talk to the Jean Hû family, who will be delighted to show you around their land. After a visit of the cellar (about 1 hour), you will also have the possibility to taste a sumptuous glass of champagne.

For the more curious, a more complete visit of about 2 hours is also proposed (visit of the vat house...) for a financial participation of 5€ per person.
