Domaine La Tour Beaumont

The Domaine de la Tour Beaumont is a winegrowing estate spread over the communes of Beaumont-Saint-Cyr and Dissay.

Created in the 1860s with only 1 hectare of vines, it now covers more than 32 hectares. The estate is located on a typical 19th century farmhouse, which has been transformed into a wine-making and tasting facility. Around Pierre, a large team is present on the Domaine and works daily with passion in the vineyards, the cellar and for the marketing.

The vines of the Domaine de La Tour Beaumont are spread over two hillsides divided by the river Clain which runs through them. Here, one type of soil predominates: the Turonian.

For almost 20 years, Pierre has always wanted to give an environmental boost to his production. Replacing plastic corks with cork or working the vineyard by hand allows him to respect biodiversity. All these actions have enabled him to obtain the High Environmental Value certification in 2018.

Some figures: The Domaine de la Tour Beaumont produces 180,000 bottles a year with different grape varieties, including :
- 50% white (Sauvignon, Fié gris, Chardonnay)
- 50% Red and Rosé (Cabernet franc, Gamay, Pinot noir)
- 50 % sales to individuals
- 50% to professionals (including 10% for export)
